B4C Police Package Car Guys I'm not sure where to post this, so I'll post it here and a couple of diffrent places.
Hey guys....I got this guy that want's to race my Z28. He's got a B4C Police Interceptor car. It's only got am exhaust set up on it...everything else is B4C Stock. He thinks he can smoke me with his Cop Car. So....I got his VIN and ran it here at work and the only thing I see diffrent from a stock car is the B4C option.
Can someone elaborate on exactly what is the extent of the B4C option. I called my guys at GM and he told em it was nothing but a hopped up Tune in the PCM. So...exactly what does that consist of? I only know that it enables your car to Top Speed at 170mph. Other than that...I don;t know.
My car is modded all to hell, and this cat thinks he's gonna school me.....I doubt it.

all i can say is that if your modded up and he is stock except for an exhaust then you will royally destroy him. but ima let the B4C peeps help you out with the technical stuff. from what i gather a B4C is an option much like the SS and Z28 all option packages for the camaro. i wanna just say suspension and gearing thats about it man. of course im not a subject matter expert.
not to talk trash but your boy seems to be one of those type of seple that think a stock SS will blow the doors off a stock Z28. cant stand those type of people.

Powerwise it is no different than a regular Caprice... the extent of the modifications is basically the same as the Crown Vic cop cars; tougher suspension, external oil cooler, maybe a tranny-fluid cooler, etc., to make it tougher. Not faster. They will NOT do 170mph... if you see the other side of 135mph in a B4C you're a lucky guy.

Dude you didn't hear? The B4C cars have a special "police chip" that makes the car pump out like 500hp!! The top speed is actually well over 200mph, and there's a special police afterburner button under the dash that makes the car fly. Good luck.

lol..then he's no match for my rocket enging that I used from an Army Helicopter.

B4C is a Camaro, not a Caprice the Caprice is a 9C1. The B4C has a slightly hotter tune some years, other than that it is a Z/28 drivetrain in a plain Camaro coupe and they usually weigh a little less. They are capable of 167 mph as as shown in several tests.

You might wanna stop at the local cop shop to see if they have any spare "police chips" so the race will be more fair. I got a special "police chip" for my wife's Corolla, and now it runs 10's. The only downside is you have to feed the car a dozen doughnuts at least once a week or it will run like ****.

WOW! Big diss coming from a guy that runs what...14's? Were you offended because your fat mom is a cop? or your fat daddy? fat brother? sister? Or are YOU a fat cop? wikipedia says that all years after 1991 were confirmed over 145.
so it's an ls1 powered vehicle no doubt. You should be fine. it's just heavy duty.
