Supercharged Mustang GT vs Exhaust LS1 Camaro***vid** We got my buddies mustang GT all together last week, got her on the dyno and now its time for the first test!
2003 Mustang GT made 388 to the wheels, with catback X pipe and Vortech V-1 at 10 lbs with aftercoler automatic trans.
2000 Z28 Camaro full exhaust and lid M6 (i am filming from the Z28, mustang also has passenger)

hahah mustang gts suck ...really it has a blower it was sucking air in don't flame me mustang guys..hehehe thats what a blown gt pulls on a lid and exhaust f-body....is the mustang proud about that damn you don't even have an ls6 intake you could prolly take him with a ported tb and ls6 intake..good death post up when you get a few mods and MURDER HIM

damn that was close. there is a pro charged mach 1 where i live and he destroyed my friends 98 cam only car. my friend had him off the line and then the mustang hooked

nice death . ive seen supercharged gts beat 03 cobra stock ones anyways .
if i had to guess it was probably the auto and help him back if it was a 5 speed it would b a diff story.
cuz when i had my gt i had exhaust /intake/tune /3.73 gears/ drag radials M/Ts i would beat a stock LS1 . and i was 5 speed
and i dont wanna see the BS flag .

lol no im kiddingi raced a 04 gt 5speed with 4.10s and vortech blower.
it pulled me like a MO FO in 3rd after he caught good traction.lol
we stayed side by side thru 1st and 2nd then he took a good 4 cars by 100mph. it was a good running car

The mustang is dyno tuned, the shift points/pressure are adjusted and yes hes on the 3.27 gears. The Z28 is lid, LT headers, ORY, catback and a 6sp..
I dont see a light bolt on GT pulling an LSX anything with anthing but a chimp at the wheel.... the Z28 in this vid went 13.10 @ 108 with just a lid. MY BONE STOCK Ws6 with nitto drag radials went 12.9X @ 108.. for a 2v that before the SC his best was a 14.4@96, I think this is pretty impressive. No one is going to argue that the 2V is garbage, but this shows that they can be quick.

also anything should be fast when you go FI with the right setup. yes even gts
The auto certainly does hurt the gts overall performance though with whatever setup he currently running

looked kinda weird...until i read he was automatic
he has a bit more horsepower...and weighs less too
14.4 is a pretty bad stock time.

By all means my stang cannot run with my camaro. I am a very mild "bolt on" car, but I can drive. 2v stangs have no top end. Mine tops out @ 109 in 4th... then od. I have no chance from a roll with pretty much anything. I have less than 250rwhp, but can still cut consistant 1.8x 60'. I have suprised many cars from a light.
I can't get many to race me in the Camaro....Actually had a turbo civic decline until I "get that vacuum leak fixed, when your car is running better we'll race." Guess he never heard a cam before.
