BMR 1" rear measurements vs. hose-modded inside
With the stock 17" tires and Speedlines all stock I get about 27.25" from the ground to the top of the fender arc in the front. In the rear it is about 27.625" to the same arc. In both cases fender to wheel gap is roughly 3" which is way too much!
Measured adding the BMR front springs and hose-modded rear springs no isolator:
Front 26 3/8"
Rear 26 7/8"
So the fronts are almost dead on an actual 1" drop. The hose mod in the rear netted me exactly .75" drop
Today with isolators back in place and BMR 1" drop springs in the rear it measured 26 1/8" to the same top of the arc. It lowered it 1.5" from stock. Looking for something now to put on the axle pad to get me about .5" back. I like it a little more raked!

do a web search...or ebay...for Starboard
its a heavy duty plastic used in alot of marine applications. very easy to machine, won't rot or compress.
should be able to find it in a multitude of thicknesses.
i would think you could cut a piece to put between the frame (spring cup) and the isolator.
and i've REALLY been looking at the BMR springs. i don't want a big drop but i do want stiffer springs.
ive considered putting 1/2" spacers on the fronts with the springs for a 1/2" drop but nice stiff springs.
and then using the starboard for the rears as i described for you.

I had the same problem my rears lowered my car way too much! I run 315/30/18's in the back and my fender would come down and hit my tire. So I bought a inch spacer and took out the isolator and put the spacer in the isolator's place and it raised the back of my car 1/2 in. You could buy one of these from Jegs. and I bought the Mr. Gasket ones.

Would putting a spacer on the axle side be a bad idea? That would give the spring less of that cup to center between itself. I'd probably look for something to add to the upper section.
I've never heard of anything that prevents noise by adding dampening to the spring perch of the axle.
