Default to those who say sportlines ride rough...

don't buy a sports car! seriously though, i just got mine installed (with the same factory shocks) and it doesnt ride rough at all. all of those that cant handle it are pussies! not to flame, but i almost didnt even buy these springs b/c of a few people bashing on them. its almost the same as my last TA with bilstein shocks/eibach springs. it did drop it alot though, but i like the way it looks. rims just need to go on now.

Take your own advice and dont be a *****.... spend the money on good **** like Stranos and Konis.

Youll kick youself in the *** for this post once you man up and get the good stuff.

I had the same crap setup, Sportlines and the wonderfull decarbons, and it did ride like ****. You must have some nice roads where you live.

As said above, the roads near you must be smooth as glass!

Wait for them to BREAK in. And lets see how long stock shocks last.

nah man my roads are shitty..northern ohio. the salt tends to rape em pretty good. I am going with adjustable coilovers sometime next summer, but for the winter all of my mod budget is going towards my Lq4/L92 build. i just got tired of my car looking like its ready to go offroading. I purposely went down shitty roads to see how it performed, and its honestly not bad at all. my mustang was WAY worse.

Not everyone is going to like the same thing. Some people might think that Sportlines ride like a limo on stock shocks. All that matters is you find what you like.

Your comparisons are Pro-kits and stock. Well, stock the shocks suck and have more impact harshness than they should, and the Pro-kits aren't exactly ideal as they are from time to time lower than claimed, and don't have enough rate to counter the lowering and Sportlines are even worse. In either case your car makes more and harder contact with the bumpstops than other setups. All f-bodies use the bumpstops, but it's a matter of how hard, and how often.

Your perspective is it's great. That's fine, I will disagree as will many who've had Sportlines and moved to other things. This is a classic YMMV.

A Honda civic is fast compared to a minivan, therefore a Honda civic is fast. All of those who don't think so, clearly cannot take on the power the mighty VTEC dishes out.
When you have a nice setup to compare your car to, your perspective will change.

LOL, yeah as long as you like them. Just wait a couple months then update us, I thought mine was tolerable for about a week. If it's your DD, you'll be kickin' yourself in the *** wishing you would have forked out the extra cash for the good ****. I "cheaped out" on my suspension too and my back, neck, tie rod ends, ball joints, front end alignment, and tires have all taken the punishment.

Thumbs up

Sportlines do what their designed to do; look cool, and nothing else.

If your happy with them, that's the most important thing!

Ok +1 for pics The car does looks much better scary low but much better. All I can say about the before pics is got dam the rear gap is insane you def needed to do something. 1 question though how did you post those big pics it always tells me to shrink them then you have to click to enlarge them?
