Default burn out, rubber marks

so b4 i lowered my car when ever i did a nice burnout i can see tire marks nice and thick, now i have new tires and more mods and lowered my car, i know its not because of the tires because there new, i start off 1st gear rolling and i let off in 2nd gear my tires screech like crazy but not much smoke and no marks literally on the floor. does this mean something? i know i have no wheel hop or anything but shouldent there be marks on the floor? tires are HTRZ II 275/40/17

Cheap isnt bad. If I was just using the car as my daily, I'd probably pick up a set of those. If I'm just driving from point a to point b then who needs super sticky tires?

are your tires spinning? did you happen to do relocation brackets and lower control arms? cause you may just be getting more traction there for you really aren't spinning the tires as much which would mean u wouldn't get getting as much smoke or black marks. however i have firestone firehawks on the rear and they are the original tire from 2001 and i can do a line lock and those tires wont leave marks make alot of smoke though

on my 16's i had BFG g force sports and they were real good! sold em for cheep then i bought the 10 spokes and i looked at the ratings for the htrzII and they were really good so thats why i went with those. right now if i punch it in first gear 1k rpm as soon as i hit the powerband i think 2,800 the tires break loose and will hit the rev limiter. if i dump the clutch it will spin pretty much through 2nd and end in 2nd, so yea there not the greatest but i mean they should make some decent marks,, shouldent they? but honestly i dont like them, when i am turning hard in 2nd and accelerating the rear end gives out easy

they wont hurt its mostly for wheel hop issues though but it also helped give me a lot more traction especially in hot weather. they wont help you make darker marks if thats what ur trying to accomplish

i have the same problem with my coopers, i do a huge brake stand then let out of it and spin the tires for 50 feet then i go back and look at the marks and its like a 1 foot really dark mark followed by a 4 foot mark you can barely see, it sucks.

id say thats it right there. when i lowered my 02 i noticed more wheel hop so i got the relocation brackets and the rear would spin really smooth and really smoky so when i lowered my 99 i did the relocation brackets same time.
