Default car doesn't want to stop at high speeds

For the past year or so the car has not stopped very well on high speeds. Like at drag strips and stuff-- 110 and up mph. You have to stand on the brakes real hard and it does not seem to want to do anything. Finally the brake pedal kind of pops down and then starts to brake better. Has anybody every heard of this? I have put WS6 store drilled and slotted rotors, Hawk pads and completely flushed the brake fluid with dot 4. Please let me know.

Something is sticking if you get a pop and then is stops better. You need to go through the hardware and slides. Something is mechanically wrong.

^^^ +1. You need to go through the brakes and check everything good. Calipers sticking, slides frozen, etc...

The front calipers, brackets and slide pins are all new in the front. When I did the brakes in the rear I greased the rear slide pins which seemed to move freely. I guess I will check the rear calipers. Let me know if you guys have any more ideas.

Why and why?

Well, sounds like rather a slide pin or a caliper piston is getting stuck. Get it checked out immediately.
