Default newb pinion angle question

OK I understand the formula to get it and what I need to set it to.

My question is how the hell do I use the on car adjuster?

Hello, back the locking nuts off at the front of the adjuster and the rear. Use a wrench to turn the adjuster until you get the setting that you are looking for. Then tighten down the locking nuts and your done. Make sure you do this with the car level and the suspension loaded.

by the front nut you mean the nut towards the front of the car right?

if so do I leave the back locking nut on the rod end locked against the adjuster tube thing?

Im not sure if im just not getting this or my adjuster is broken or something. I actually have a wolfe arm but was using the pic as a reference. when I loosen up both of the locking nuts and turn the adjuster, nothing changes it just spins between the arm and the rod end. The rod end moves out of the adjuster and the threaded part of the adjuster will move into torque arm if that makes sense.

So do I need to leave the back locking nut locked onto the adjuster, with the front one loose, and THEN spin the adjuster into or out of the arm?

It should move after you back both of those nuts off.
