Default Strano Springs and Koni 4/4's installed! Before and After Pics added!

UPDATE: I added daytime pics in post 22

Well the suspension is in and damn, it is awesome! Sam was very helpful and even though there was a mishap where I got sent the wrong rear shocks, it was handled and I got the right ones pretty quickly.

When I went to get my alignment the shop owner said all of his employees love the stance and he loved how it drove and rode. This guy does alignments on lambos and did a new M3 right after my car so that made me happy. It's so much more predictable in the corners and is a whole different beast. Here some pics from the install:

I picked a new taillight center panel up for cheap so I put it in. Here's how it looks against the old one:

Looks nice, what I can see of it.

Take some day time pictures, so we can really see how nice it looks!

Yeah, I'll get some daytime pics very soon. I just took these tonight to show a friend who's been bugging me to get pics of the drop and figured I'd post them up.

The setup cost me just over $1300 shipped to my door from Sam. Granted this was before the Koni price increase. This was for the Springs, shocks, and Panhard Bar. It rides worlds above stock, the whole chassis feels way more solid and the car feels so much more confident in the corners. Instead of "shuddering" and "shimmying" over bumps you just feel the car hitting the bump and it keeps on going (if you know what I mean?). I know a lot of people say "**** man, that's like the cost of a nice Nitrous kit or a cam swap!", but IMO it was money well spent.

Does it take holes in the road good or act like a cement truck?

Here are some brighter pics of the drop.

This car handles like it is on rails. I had the luxury of riding this car around freeway curves at 140 and it was crazy!

With the rear 4/4. Mine stops spinning when I have it at full soft. But when I turn it to firm it doesn't stop. Curious if yours does that or if it stops at full firm?

Hmm, sounds like its a broken shock. It should stop at both extremes, and I believe there's like 3 or so turns of the **** from full soft to full hard. If you bought them from Sam Strano, give him a call he's very helpful over the phone.

Otherwise, I have mine set at about 1/2 of a turn from full soft.

Never had a 4th gen rear break the adjuster unless there were no bumpstops on the car, which is a big no-no. And if it stops one direction, it can't be broken inside or it would keep turning. Broken is broken.

Bumpstops have never been removed. I know they are there to protect the shock.

Maybe I didn't turn the **** all the way to full firm, but it seemed like it kept going and going. I'll check them both again.
