spohn solid motor mounts?
i have poly motor and trans mounts but i was thinking about changing to the spohn solid motor mounts. anybody tried them? how did you like them? do they cause more stress on the trans mount?

I thought about solid motor mounts before but it just doesn't seem like a good idea on a car with a trans mounted torque arm.
If you launch hard enough the torque arm lifts the rear of the trans up. Of course there are steel limiters on the trans mount, I've seen rub marks on these which means the trans is coming up approx 1/2". It just doesn't seem like a good idea.
I've run solid mounts on cars with no TA with no problems. I've been told not to but I've also run solid engine and trans mounts with no problems.
The TA adds a potential problem IMO.
