Default how does suspension help a car perform better

someone told me i should look into some upgraded performance but i dont see how it would help im not saying it would i just dont know how im new to the hobby please help

everything is tighter and puts more power to the ground.

Do shocks, be happy. Start there, Bilsteins if on a budget, Konis if you want to do it right.

From there, mod according to results and goals.

The more horsepower you can the to ground the better 60ft range will be which can better your et.
