Default torque arm bolts

So im in the process of converting my a4 Formula to a m6. Pretty straight forward not many question there. But im having a problem remving my torque arm. I cant seem to remove the two bolts that connect the ta to the rear differential. I tried for an hour with no progess made. Is there something I need to know about these bolts or are they stripped somehow?? Ive tried searching this but I can't seem to find anything on here about it. Help Please. .

Have you grabbed the head of the bolt (on top) and held that while trying to remove the nut?

The torque arm bolts are just two long bolts that run through the rear end, the nuts are usually on the bottom.. here is a picture of what the bolts look like- www.umiperformance.com/3003

Yeah or at least you didnt change the starter in your girlfriends car, including going to sears twice to buy tools cause you didnt have any with you, only to find out she was trying to start it in reverse. <Not something i did>
