Default Which PHB?

I finally noticed after 11 years that my rear end isn't centered on the car. The rear tires are off about 3/4 of an inch from the fenders. The car is stock height, never has been lowered and never will. So with the current sales going on I wanted to pull the trigger and get a new UMI PHB. What one should I get? Obviously it needs to be adjustable, but I noticed that there are different adjustable ones. The car is a DD and will see the drag strip maybe twice a year.

I would get an "on the car" adjustable one. Seems like it would simplify the rear centering not having to remove the bar to adjust it. I just got the UMI Poly/poly adjustable for Christmas....its nice.

Get the single adjustable with the bushing end. It will be quiter and work great. You'll set it once and forget it so being on car adjustable is just a luxery you don't need to pay for. You just have to take the one end loose to adjust it.

If you are constantly raising and lowering your car, or changing wheel/tire combos all the time, the double adjustable may make sense.
However, if you are not constantly making changes, the single adjustable will do just fine. As mentioned previously, you have to unbolt that end of the bar, make the adjustment, then bolt it back in place. For my vehicle, I had to adjust it 3 times to get it perfectly centered. After that, I have not needed to touch it.

Hello,

Thanks for the interest and I will be glad to help.

For a daily driver I would recommend the on-car adjustable poly/poly set-up #2029. This item is on car adjustable, is quiet and will not wear over time. If you have any additional questions please ask and I will be glad to help.

Thank you!
Ryan

The most popular one I sell is this one, as it's the best combination of ease of adjustment, strength, and noise: http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=67&ModelID=7

That one is the strongest one, and what I have on my Camaro (until I get the Watts link on anyway).
