Just for reference, other than genuine GM, I seem to have the best result from National brand.

I replace mine every year during the off season.

its risky going with a junk yard hub because you dont know the condidion of it untill you do all the work and it also could be worn.
i got my passenger side wheel hub from advance auto for around a 100.
the swap is not that hard but you will have to rent an axle puller to get the hub off of the spindle.
i had to borrow one from the parts store to get the hub off because of rust ans i just used some of my wheel lugs to mount the claw to the hub then just started pullin lol it only took about 3-4 pulls but there was no way of geting it off with out the puller i tryed every thing.

Timken buys these Hubs from Delphi and Delphi supplies the OEM hubs. With that said, I went thru six pairs of Timkin Hubs this last summer. However I do autocross the car, and I run 315's on all four corners, plus I probably don't put enough road miles on them prior to autocrossing them. One theory is that the more road miles are on a set of hubs prior to running them hard, the longer they will last. It gives them a chance to break in.

Autozone sells Timkens and they offer a 1 year warranty.

how many road miles do they say it needs so it helps them to last longer?

when running stock size tires (like a NT-01 or R888) how long do the hubs normally last from canyon/track days?

That is still undecided. The last two sets I put 40 miles on them before autcrossing. One set I did a straight 40, the second set I did 20, let the car sit for a few days, and then 20 more miles. I was able to get 12 runs out of these hubs before they were "loose" vs. only 6 runs when I didn't put miles on them. My stock hubs lasted for 9 years, and I put 10,000 miles on them before the first autocross.

Yeah I was just going to buy some Timken from Autozone. I just wanted to see what else was out there. I bought them before for other cars and they are GOOD.

With 275 RA1s, I went a whole season on the Nationals I got from O-Reilly's with 1/2" wheels spacers.
