Default stranos with kyb agx shocks?

i ordered my stranos today and was thinking of just putting them on my car with the stock shocks ( car runs smooth anyways) but i was thinking i will eventually end up buying shocks and might as well do it all at once... i know koni are the best shocks but they are realllyyy expensive and i was looking at the kyb agx shock set?... anyone running this with stranos?.. can you tell me if you like it or hate it.. thanks

Why don't you call Sam and have him explain the differences?

I have a set that I'll be putting on when my Strano springs get here. From what I've gathered here is that they are one of the best choices next to Koni's. Definitely check out the link Brewski posted, there is some great info in there!

the shocks are the most important piece of your suspension.

people say they are the best, and after installing them on my car i can agree. in short what i can tell you is that my car does exactly what i make it do. and i have 0 body roll, all the while it still rides smooth as butter.

Yeah, I'm curious to what some people have to say about the strano/agx setup.

What are you guys wanting to know??? This has been talked about, more than once.

AGX's don't magically become Koni's on my springs. I sell AGX's because that's all some folks can swing and having the ability to adjust the shock gives them some tuning options, and the shocks can control the spring rate. That said, I don't and won't use AGX's on my own car. The Koni's offer more composed damping control without as brittle a ride... and are built a lot better... and are backed by a much better warranty.

If it's all about money and you can't do Koni's, then AGX's are an option to strongly look at. If you can afford Koni's and you are wavering about the price, you need to decide how good you want the result to be. You get what you pay for here fella's.

As long as the ride isn't as jarring as stock, and with less body roll.

Shocks don't make the car roll less... if you run more rebound damping they slow the rate of the roll, but not the amount of it.

Stock shocks are pretty harsh espeically with miles on them. So given your criteria, I think you'd probably find AGX's to be good enough. Koni's are just better at everything in terms of how they work.

Yeah stock shocks suck, especially at almost 100,000 miles. So hopefully the strano/agx combo will be good.
