Default What spring rate for track/street

I am purchasing Qa1 coilovers. What spring rate should i request? It will mostly be a track car but i will drive it to car shows and drive it once in a while on the weekends. Any help would be appreciated.

Define "track", do you mean drag racing?
If your main concern is drag racing you might as well go with the low 275 spring rate because it will help weight transfer, which is what these shocks are about.

yes drag but also a cruse now and then. 275 seems to harsh for me. Yes weight transfer is important but thats not everything. I want to drive to the track without the fillings falling out out of my mouth.

Um, the lower the number the softer the spring is. Stock LS1 front spring is 292lbs/inch. And if you are going for ride comfort drag shocks are not exactly ideal for that.

These are the rear coilovers. I have qa1 shocks on stock springs in the front. what are the spring rates do you recommend for the rear?
