Default Koni shock/Strano spring BEST SETUP

I want the best Koni Shock and Strano Spring setup. I want the car to be fairly low like pro kit possibly a little bit lower. I never take the car to the track I cruise and street drive it only. I was looking on their websites but could NOT find anything. I thought I heard at one time that everything was like 900 dollars for everything.

Thanks,

Devin M

You need to call and talk to Sam Strano, himself. He will set you up.

Thanks guys! Give him a call or email when I have the time. Was looking at doing the koni 4/4 setup with strano 1.2in lowering springs. I already have UMI weld in boxed SFCS and UMI strut tower brace. If only I could get more money and have a complete UMI supension with the shock/spring setup from above.

You can't go wrong with the Koni shocks and Strano springs. IMO the best setup for a great handling street 4th gen.

I think you'll get more feedback in the suspension forum. I am going to transfer this thread there.

Thanks!
Jason

Strano springs are slightly less drop then eibach prokits but its still a very noticeable difference over stock, i prefer it being slightly higher as i had and still do have problems with speedbumps etc but every little bit helps. They are very noticeably stiffer and the car corners with minimal body roll, love my strano springs.

If you're running a true dual setup like I am you'de definately have trouble navigating driveways and even entry ramps with that Eibach Pro kit. I ended up switching mine back out till I can reroute my exhaust and get it closer to the underside of the body. I've heard a LOT of good things about Stranos suspension gear. I may go that route and sell my Eibach seup.
SLP is pushing the Bilstein shocks as the best thing since sliced bread. Does anyone have any feedback on these?

Bilsteins are made for ride quality and STOCK ride height spring.

Koni are made for handling and can be used with lowering springs.

I would think Koni's are the better shock for ride quality, as long as you have them set right. Compression for Konis are enough for what's needed for the car on the Koni's. Then you can change the rebound to really soft and bouncy to over-firm if you wanted to, covering all ends of the spectrum. Because of this, you can make the ride quality worse on the Konis, but it means you got them set wrong.
