The motor is mounted in the engine bay that way naturally. It just appears more noticable because the mounts are solid.

i have a stock mounted ls f body right beside mine and it is fine. since it is not level, it is throwing my trans mount way off as well.

I didn't notice any problems with mine. I think it lifted the driverside up slightly but nothing drastic. Would a picture be able to show the lean?

2* would not be noticeable, if it is off its off more than 2*.
IIRC the mounts are side specific.
Maybe you have them reversed.

2* is what my angle finder reads and it is way to high on the drivers side. the mounts are marked l or r and only go on one side-they cant be reversed.

Well no one else has a problem like yours so it is either due to a bad part (unlikely) or installation errors. Something isnt right if noticing a problem that bad. I used the same exact mounts. Everything lines up perfectly and trans mount lines up perfectly as well. Motor sits a bit to the passenger side but thats normal.

My motor sits on an angle as well. I am in the middle of trying to remedy the problem. I built another motor mount for the d side to level the motor out but now the steering shaft is hitting the header. The collector on the d side header was also almost touching the floor using the spohn mount. I am guessing I am going to have to live with the situation.

I have the Sphon solid mounts and my motor set level from what i can tell,If the mounts are not right, they wont bolt up. The angle on the mounting plates hast to be right or the mounting plate on the other motor mount wont line up. Do you have any pics of your motor?
