Default ABS Delete

When you delete the ABS, Iwas told the abs inop light goes on, etc. But, does it thro a code for SES? In NY we have plug and play Inspections, I just want to know If It will throw an SES code, which would make me fail my inspection.... I cant stand the ABS, and losing the weight is a great advantage as well.

If it's just an abs light, and I pull the fuse, will it be an issue? Tried search but no luck....

Thanks,
Christian

I deleted my ABS/TCS/Cruise.....brake light,SES and TCS lights are on all the time, I blocked them out using tape. Not sure if just the ABS would throw the code or all of the above mentioned did. You can try pulling the fuse and see what happens, I have not done this so I couldn't tell you whether it will work or not.

It should not throw an SES light (mine did not) - SES lights generally come on for emissions related things. There will be a Brake light, Service Vehicle, and ABS INOP though...you either have to remove the bulbs or do some other fancy footwork to keep those from lighting your mug through the wee hours of the morning...

MeentSS02 is correct. There should be no codes which will affect passing emissions. Passing inspection shouldn't be a problem as well. The only thing you'll want to do is disable the lamps from illuminating.

Let me know if I can help you further.
