The car sways? Does it have the rear sway bar installed?
An aftermarket torque arm is a great upgrade and we highly recommend it with a 9" rear. However this item shouldn't be causing the car to sway.
All the adjustable torque arms we offer will fit and work just fine the 9" rear end. I posted a link for you to take a look

Headers!!!!!
Hello,
Yes you can run headers with our applications and others. It just depends on if you are running true duals and what y or x pips you are using. If you have any other questions I will be glad to help.
Thanks Again

If the car has been acting this way since the rear end install I would recommend going back over the bolts and making sure they are still at proper torque specs. A stock arm will work properly on the 9 inch if installed correctly.
Did you reinstall the rear sway bar?
Did you install the rear with all factory rear suspension components?

I would say its probably the LCA bushings if I had to guess. When I last blew out my bushings the rear would walk around a bit @ speed depending on if I was on or off the gas.
Spohn still seems like the best bang for your buck. Not sure why there is $50 or so diff between say UMI and Spohn TAs?
Also never got why BMR hasn't gone to a body mount setup, rather they still have you weld in a bar between your subframes?

The torque arm that you weld in the bar is either our Trak Pak or our Extreme torque arms. These arms are designed for the 10 second and fast quarter mile car. Our stock length toque arm is strong enough to handle the 9 second and slower car but with anything faster we recommend the shorter arm. The Trak Pack and Extreme arms are roughly 12"s shorter than a full length thus the need for the crossbar.

I looked under the car today and the panhard bar was really lose(up&down). Looking at it a little closer i see that it looks homemade. The guy i bought it from must of cut the stock bar and welded in a treaded rod and put an adjustment on there. So now im on the lookout for a reasonable adjustible panhard bar. Hopfully this fixes my problem.

Hello,
Glad you found the problem and that will defiantly do it... the panhard bar keeps the rear end stable under the car. The panhard bar is loose it would cause the swaying issues you see.
We offer a variety of panhard bars that can be seen here- http://www.umiperformance.com/produc...ategory_id=124
If you have any questions or need help choosing one please let me know. Thank you!
