Default Manual steering conversion ?

I did a search but didn't find an answer. When converting to a manual rack, is the original power steering box retained? If so, are the lines removed and the fittings then removed and the holes plugged?

Thanks

If you're talking about a 4th gen there is no steering box. Just remove the factory rack and pump.
