So I start driving home from work and i hear a dragging sound !!! ... My Right rear Stabilizer bar is dragging the ground, the bolt either broke or fell out...HOW I dont know. Does anybody know the size of that bolt so I know what to get to fix this thing. I got Wire holding my stabilzer bar up

was it an end link or part of the mount where it attaches to the rear end itself?

I would just go to autozone and pick up a new set of poly endlinks, they arent too expensive and much better than stockers.

Are Stabilizers also referred to as Trailing arms? ...If so it uses a 1/2 inch Grade 8 bolts if my research is correct.

Im going to go Drop off the SS at my buddy's house and hes going to have one of his mechanics from his dealership pull off the bolt of another Camaro and replace mine. Good news is I get to drive his Chrysler 300 SRT-8 untill my cars fixed lol

Nope.

Stabilizer bars are a different suspension piece, also known as "sway-bar" or "anti-say bar."

The trailing arms are actually the rear Lower control arms on this car.

(just a note that not all rear lower control arms of other car makes are of the "trailing" type, but that's a whole other tech discussion altogether.)

Now, if it's the rear stabilizer bar, the "fastening" parts are usually available at most autoparts stores as mentioned in previous postings.

How is the rear swaybar dragging on the ground? I'm having a hard time picturing it. Did you bust both end links?

I'm pretty sure he meant the lower control arm was dragging, you would have to lose both end links on the sway bar for it to drag, and then both sides would be dragging
