Default Lost my brakes

I haven't drove my car in probably 5 days or so, so i go out earlier to start it and run to the store. i back out of my driveway and have no brakes. push the peddle and it goes all the way to the floor. i get out and check the fluid in the master and its full. its dark but i cant see any leaks. any ideas? did my master go out while it was setting?

It could have gone out, definitely. Just make sure there are really no leaks first.

Is your car parked outside or in a garage? If kept outside, any people that don't particularily like you?

In other words, has somebody been messin' with your car? I know that sometimes things "just fail", but it's not common for a master cylinder to just up and quit without some kind of erratic behavior for a little while.
