Default Autos on the street

Ok i have a bolt on car with a 3600(loose) stall and 4.10s. It moves out the hole pretty hard as is. Looking for ways to improve.

How do you guys launch on the street?

Also for autos what do you think are the suspension peices we need the most?

How much do skinnies up front help on the street?

Also feel free to chime in with anything relative, ask your own question and post your setup/results.

sticky tires are the most important, next would be some good shocks. then you would look at springs and lca relocation brackets.

I run 4.10s and a Vig 4000 on the street...I also run a 28" tire...My street set up is very sleeperish with M&H 275 55 R16 Drag Radials on the 16x8 stockers and stock fronts...My suspension is QA1 R series fronts with 275lb springs, QA1 12 ways with stock springs in the ear, Spohn cross brace mounted TA, Spohn rod ended LCAs and relocation brackets in lowest hole, Spohn rod ended PHB, Spohn Pro series rear drag sway bar...Hotchkis welded SFCs and a PAF CM point roll bar. The rod ended are a bit noisey on the street but the articulation without binding is nice...PAF a sponsor here scaled/tuned the suspension and it hits very hard on the street...I launch off idle and it hooks very well on the street...

As far as what suspension pieces you need I'd say all of them are needed to work well together... My car is set up so nice that it dead hooks to 1.50-.52s everytime at the track and you can drive it with one finger on the wheel...

...I added the Vig 4000 the end of last year from the 3600 I had and added the Spohn pro series rear bar...Should get 60's into the 1.40s this year I hope...

Uhm I love the gear around town. If i drove more on the highway i would prolly want less.

I run a fuddle stall. i know everyone hates them but im actually very happy. Several other people have commented on liking it. It is inefficent up top but i am wiring up a lockup switch( i have a manual valve body) that i think will help the car a TON.

Im running 315 nitto 555r's right now. Their doing pretty well. But i think im going to go to a more drag oriented wheel and a set of ET radials.
