Depends... what type of wheel? Offset? What kind of PHB do you have? What tire do you have, as some are wider than others at the same tire width spec. There's no clear yes or no. Some people have mounted 315's and don't rub, other's rub a lot. It's gonna be trial and error. If you get some rubbing, then do some fender modification to fix it.

In my situation I didn't want to deal with rubbing at all so I went in with the BFH and rolled the fenders. Also added 3/16th spacers because I wanted to retain the ability to jack up the car on the side and retain my whole rear bumpstops. I swapped to ARP longer wheel studs since the spacers allow less of the stock wheel studs and I wanted to make sure they were strong enough for high performance use.

Your answer is open ended. A little rubbing isn't going to kill you. It will actually give you visual evidence where you need to modify the fenders. I would be careful once you experience some rubbing though, and check it out. When I put my wider wheel/tire on for the first time and took it for a ride down the street, I experienced no rubbing with no modification at this point.

I have the zr1 315's with nitto 555r drag radials. I dont have any rubbing but if i hit a good bump or dip and the car almost bottoms cause its lowered like 2 1/2 inches it rubs a tiny bit. u can hear it but cant see any damage.

ZR1's, 315 Nitto drag radials and I rubbed a little. Did BFH mod. With hard cornering it rubbed a little. More BFH modding. Also cut the bump stops in half so that it would clear the 11 inch wheels when the car is jacked up. Didn't need to touch the fender lip.

my friend did this on his TA. 315 mickey. no problems with rubbing. he does have an ADJ panhard bar though. I did this on my camaro, and my weight transfer suffered at the track, so i'll be putting them back on.

is both sides rubbing or one? if one side is rubbing you need an adjustable panhard bar to center your rear axle.
to my knowledge, i thought nitto made 275 than 315 sizes for 9.5 and 11 inch wheels...didn't know they had a 305
