Default Rear spring issues

Hey, I just put new springs on all four corners of my 99 TA. Front looks sweet, right rear looks sweet, left rear is about .75 inch too high. Ive tried rotating the springs multiple times and nothing changes. It is properly in the perch up top. Ive driven it around so I dont think its gonna settle any further. The car only has 35000 on it and a clean carfax so I dont think its tweeked. Any ideas? Also how much lower will the hose mod make it and does that cause any performance issues?

From what i've heard, its a known issue for the rear left to sit higher.

That is correct! I've seen them from .25, to almost a full inch off on the left rear.

Did you try rotating the passenger side rear spring?
If you didn't try that first, otherwise if you have do the hose mod then.

The "hose mod" (5/8" fuel/oil hose 18" long) on the drivers side rear, that would be a low cost option which would give you around a 1/2" to 3/4" drop.

Mine was 3/4 off swaped springs even tryed a diff set of springs, allways was the same. When I had my rear out I added 1" to the height of the spring seats on the rear and then I could add spacers to level it out.

I guess its good to know its normal. Do you think the hose mod on just the left would negatively affect anything?
