Default Turning slotted and drilled rotors?

Possible? worth doing? Just wondering.. My B4C came with em and i'm pretty sure they are warped at the moment....

Yes you can do it but a lot of shops wont just because they are drilled and slotted. I had a set of slotted we turned at a friends shop a while ago with no problems.

Most shops won't because it takes longer and it risks hosing up the cutting tool.

If you set the cutter depth to take off the "normal" amount of material per pass, many times when the cutter hits the leading edge of the gap created by the hole or slot, it will break the tool.

So, it requires the cutting depth to be decreased significantly, meaning more passes.
