Ready to Lower
#3
lowering your car wont really help at the drag strip, and it also depends on what springs you get. but i can tell you now the drag guys will come in here and tell you that lowering your car is not good for drag.

Drag shocks (QA1, Strange, afco, etc) will provide the worst ride quality, handling and control for a car (especially when lowered) because they are designed solely to transfer weight. A handling shock (koni, KYB agx, bilstien, etc) will provide the best ride quality, handling and control but won't transfer weight like a drag shock. And like already said lowering your car generally does hurt your launch (all else equal) because you loose the extra travel in the front to transfer weight better. You'll have to pick your poison.

Interesting now that you point that out it makes perfect sense I guess leaving it at stock height and adding some drag shocks would make it plant harder , I plan to put some draglites on soon.
