How does the C6 caliper upgrade with 12.8 rotors hold up against the brembos in performance? And I’m referring to say the stoptech pkg.

I hope folks who actually ran them on a course chime in…..

In particular how would the C6 setup hold up to some hot laps?

I kinda have brembo envy but if the performance of the C6 holds up, then screw it I’ll go for the it.

Appearance vs. Performance is such a drag!

i did the c5 setup for the kind of driving i do. the ls1 calipers tend to flex when you mash the pedal allot. the vette calipers are cast and do not have as much flex, c6 should also be cast. i also do not warp my rotors anymore, which means they can be cut instead of buying new ones. there is someone in the for sale section selling the adapter brackets for $90 if you hurry.

I have yet to see a C6 upgrade on an F-body. Enlighten me.

am I missing something? regular corvette C6 calipers (non Z06). The base C6 calipers are almost identical to the C5 calipers, except newer and revised, is what I understood. Are you serious?

well i have the C5 Z06 brakes the calipers are pressure cast as opposed to the LS1's gravity cast calipers. i love my brakes. with SS lines they have very good feel and responsiveness. i parted my set together for around $600 or so. how much is the brembo kit ?
