i bought a full size torque arm and the relocation bracket. the tunnel is not a good mounting point if you plan on making power unless you do 3 point subframe connectors.

personally, i'd get this full-length UMI Adjustable Torque Arm and a separate Lakewood Driveshaft Loop (part#: 620-18022) both brand new for less money, and you wouldn't have to worry about any of the issues people are having with tunnel-mounted torque arms, and without needing to disconnect the drive shaft to install the drive shaft loop.

btw, i have that same UMI adjustable torque arm (among other UMI parts), and it's an awesome piece....UMI is definitely my first choice for suspension components.

i mean, that's a good price for the part he's selling, if you know that's what you want, but there are other, less expensive options out there.

i'll never trust a tunnel-mounted torque arm, personally....that area was not designed and reinforced to handle the stresses that a torque arm puts on it.

I had a spohn adj. TA on my 93 T/A and did not have any problems with it....but it would make a banging sound when you hit the gas.

the tunnel mount is probably a little better for drag racing, but if you don't want to deal with the banging all the time, then that rules out the tunnel mount one. the tunnel mount ones are probably ok for cars that are dedicated for drag racing only, but for a dual-duty car that sees daily driving as well, it's just not worth it.

besides, there are plenty of people putting down really good times on full-length T/A's also, a tunnel mount one is not totally necessary, it's all in how the rest of the car is set up...i mean, it's your choice and all, but i'd just stick with a full-length T/A.
