rubber bushings vs poly
so i have a poly kit sitting in my garage for all the suspension bushings on the car. this along with poly motor and tranny mounts were going to go in while the car was down for trany rebuild at some point this summer. how would fully poly everything make the handle for DD. stiffer, more jarry when hitting a bump for dampen better?

It will make it a bit stiffer because the poly wont give like the rubber bushings do. You will notice more vibrations mainly from the engine and trans mounts.

Poly in the front lower arms is a HUGELY bad idea. Don't do it, the rear bushing fails almost instantly and causes major issues.
Also I don't recommend poly trans mounts because they can transmit too much vibration and a lot of folks hate the result. However, I have no issue with the poly engine mounts.

I've already swapped for poly in the PHR, rear LCA and sway bars, and I liked the change.
If shipping wasn't so expensive, I would of got aftermarket PHR and LCA for sure.

I found this thread a while back when reading up on replacing suspension bushings. You might find it helpful.

I have poly in the engine and transmission. It vibrates a little more, but it's not unpleasant. I had switched the over after my shifter started going batty everytime I would get on it. It's nice to have the shifter stay in place now

When I first installed the poly tranny mount it was harsh, but it felt great, NO deflection.
Power was transferring more efficiently to the rear. After a few weeks it broke in and now you cant even tell it's poly vs. stock.
I recently installed a poly bushing in the TQ arm and that also made a real nice difference.
I went with Moog replacements for the rear LCAs, the feel like stock but dont deflect easily.

the useful parts would be (can't remember all of what is or isn't included in the kit):
Stabiliser bar-to-body "D" bushings.
Stabiliser bar endlinks
Motor mounts
Transmission mount (modified)
Torque Arm mount
Again, not all poly parts are bad because in those areas, you DO want the restricted movement.
As Sam noted before, control arms are definitely NOT okay to have Poly bushings, especially the front ones.

ok. so are there any odjections to the following setup?
poly motor mounts
poly torque arm mount
read LCA poly bushing (spohn setup)
PHB with poly bushing (probably end up with an on car adjustable from whoever has them on sale)
front upper control arm poly? didnt really see much on that
poly sway bar bushings and endlinks. front and rear.
i might try to do the modified poly trans mount since i have had good luck with it before in my old formula
