those look great,

only few things i want to say. they are more money then the JJ joints. you can get them for right around 45 ready to do.(like his were 51 with spacers, jj joints need no spacers) and the rockwell hardness is 120. that is damn hard. i wonder how long they will last.

but they look great and are a great option for the guys that already have rod ends and want somthing different.

great work Steve.

Yeah, I just wanted people to know there's more options out there besides regular poly bushings, and rod ends.

My JJ joints work great though!

So where are these Del-Sphere Pivot Joints performance wise? I know polyurethane is stiffer then stock but provides a smoother/quieter ride but they can bind up. I also know that Rod Ends are for all out performance but the ride is said to be harsher and louder.

i have never used one of those del joints. but i would say it is between poly and rod.

harsher ride then poly, but quiter then rod.

I just bought some brand new spohn chromoly rca's with these del-sphere pivot joints.

Hopefully they should be a lot less harsh then what they are replacing. Which are spherical / rod ended rca's like these.

I was looking at these this week.
They appear to provide similar anti-bind benefits of rod ends but allow a greater amount of articulation.
I'm not sure I'd want to DD with those things in my LCAs and Torque Arm though,
Maybe a poly/Del-Sphere combo on the LCAs.

Anyone else try them?
I'd love to get some feedback before making the purchase and selling my poly/poly LCAs
or taking my Torque Arm apart and swapping the pivot.

I ended up getting a set of the UMI LRCA's with the roto-joints when they were on sale
I went with the roto-joints mainly because they do the same thing except with fewer parts, and are offered in non-adjustable lca's.
I don't think you can go wrong with the Spohn del-sphere pivot joints, or the UMI roto-joints. They both offer great articulation, wear characteristics, are fully rebuildable, and quiet. My UMI joints are completely quiet, and there's no reason the Spohn joint shouldn't be just as quiet.
