Can you remove the upper panhard bar?

Can you remove the upper panhard bar? How many guys running large exhaust or custom fuel tank have remove the upper panhard bar running from the driverside to passenger? My mufflex will not fit and with the new aluminum tank it will not fit without building a spacer?
Any thoughts?

There's an upper relocation panhard bar you can get that is specifically made for making room for exhaust piping:

Like mentioned above we do offer a upper pan hard bar relocation kit That is manufactured to allow you to have more clearance for the exhaust. And as long as the vehicle is not lowered you should not have any clearance issues. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help!
