few questions: UMI tubular upper control arms
Just bought them and wasn't given any directions.
-Are the grease fittings supposed to face up or down?
-What is the torque spec for intsalling balljoints?
What is the torque spec on the bolts holding the arm to the chassis?
They look to be nice pieces, this is the first time I have ordered from UMI, I have bought many other UMI components from Ws6store which have always had the directions and extra stickers.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks.

as far as grease fittings go, i would assume it doesnt really matter as long as it doesnt hit anything and you can gett to it rather easily... torque spec i have no idea, i jus tightened till it felt good and snug to me...

Hello,
Sorry about the instructions, they must have forgot. If you would like a copy please supply me an e-mail address and I will send them over.
The grease fittings will face down towards the ground, this puts the ball joint holder in the correct angle and allows you to easily grease the A-Arms. Torque them A-Arm bolts to 72 ft lbs, I am not sure about the ball joint bolts.. they are 1/4" bolts so just tighten them tight with a 3/8" ratchet.
Hope that helps!
