I have been having issues with my car lately as far as the steering goes. I notice it has become fairly loose with a clunk ever once and a while while I am turning. I tried checking it out one day and I had the ignition on and i would shake the wheel side to side and you would here a repeating clunk coming from the rack and pinion. I am confused and want my tough steering back. What do you recomend

Did you get this figured out? I'm having the same issue, think it's narrowed down to the rack itself....
