Default Thank you Veterans!

It's not suspension or brake, or business related.....

I just wanted to take a minute to thank the men and women who serve and have served in the United States Armed Forces.

I get to speak to a lot of servicmen (servicepeople?) and have always been impressed with their want to learn and understand things. And of course for those serving overseas and in combat, I wish you home ASAP, safe and sound.

Thank you all, no matter what era you served. Happy Veterans Day to you.

A big thanks from me too, IDK where we would be without the brave men and women who have served this great country.

Thanks Sam. Not only was I USMC for 6 years, 7 months, but also a naturalised citizen as a result.

As an interesting side note as an expat, many Aussie vets I've known for the past 3 years know about this holiday and even the USMC birthday. Heck, they keep asking me how they can serve in the US military!

Thank you Sam it is much appreciated (purple heart recipient - VietNam -1969).

Now for all of you vets who spend all of your extra money on car parts and leave little left over for food - get a free dinner tomorrow at Golden Corral on Sunday the 15th to honor all Veterans. Just bring some form of veteran ID and eat for free.

USN 2001-present with two trips to the gulf. So can I get some free springs or something on military discount!?

J/K! I already take full advantage at all the local parts stores, and with AZ rewards I always try to buy just over 20 bucks worth at a time. Then with 20 dollar gift money for every 100 spent plus the 10%, it basically adds up to almost a third off everything bought!

Oh and most Home Depot and Lowe's stores also give 10% in case people didnt know.

Too bad you gotta eat before you go so you can wait in the line around the parking lot! Applebees participated this year too.
