Default GW Traclink differences

I have a chance to buy a GW Trac-link for my car. The problem is the one I found is for a 6 speed and mines an auto. GW lists different part numbers, so I called them and they were vague, and said it had to do with where it mounts on the transmission. So I was wondering if someone on here uses one and could tell me how it mounts. I am hoping I can fab something up, or is it too different and won't work. BTW I did a search and saw this question a couple of other times, but never saw an answer.

Default

The GW bolts to the stock trans crossmember so the tab for the bolt may be a different orientation or the support arm may be a different length. If memory serves there was a guy on this site trying to sell one for an auto, barnat I think. Good luck,

Larry
