Default Am I missing something here?

I put some Eibach Pro spring on my 00 trans am. On the passenger side I have this:

It looks like its cocked to completely the wrong direction, do I just need to force it to turn the other way?

Is that after you reinstalled the new springs? Whats the otherside look like...were they re-mounted on opposite sides maybe? You'll have to compress the spring and rotate the entire strut around and remount the upper to it to make it work if the other side is correct.

Other side is fine...so **** I have to compress the spring and rotate it around. I had to rent the spring compressor and I already returned it, this sucks.

No. Spin it around. It will rotate on the shock shaft.

Or, if you don't want to get a spring compressor again, I guess you could remove the lower A-Arm, bolt up the shock and then using a floor jack, force the A-Arm back into place.

But its your choice ... spin the shock 180*; remove the shock and spin it 180*; or remove the A-Arm and attach then wedge.
