I used dupli-color caliper paint and it worked fine. You can get it at your local auto parts store.

I also used dupli-color for my calipers.I cleaned them with a wire wheel on my drill
and then cleaned them with M.E.K. before painting them.

Make sure to clean them well, sand them down to a smooth surface, clean with acetone or similar product to degrease, then apply multiple coats.

I used VHT caliper paint. Has worked well so far with no chipping.

I used Duplicolor caliper spray on my daily driver, turned out nice other than the fact it took about a day before the paint wasnt tacky. I blew everything apart to wire wheel and clean. Everything was painted separately and the calipers were carefully masked off.

I recently took everything apart to do another brake job, red on a DD is a complete bitch to keep clean so I stripped off all the red and repainted everything with semi-gloss black Duplicolor engine enamel. Red looked good for about the first 20K miles or so but cleaning it was a pain since the only way to really get everything clean again was by taking the wheels off. I didnt have any problems with chipping but the color changed slightly, kinda changed from bright red to a darker red over a 2 year period.

I want to do a gloss black on mine too, but I'm also thinking about those caliper covers that MGP or whatever have for sale. I don't have the time to take the brakes off my DD.

I used brake cleaner/chrome wheel cleaner to clean the brake dust off. Then I used the dremel to smooth out the casting marks. Cleaned it again from the debris, prep it for painting, then used Duplicolor paint/cleared right after.
