Put the poly end on the chassis side and the rod end on the axle.

the poly side goes with the chassis, and the rod end goes on the differential.

Why the change? Tire rub?

Lay the factory bar on the driveway, insert the bolts through it and then put the new bar through the bolts, adjusting the rodded end to align to the bolt.

This makes the two rods exaclty the same length, bolt to bolt.

If you need to adjust to fix a tire rub, then adjust appropriately.

Use loctite on the jam nut.
