Default Drag Shocks?

As stated im looking to buy some drag shocks and most likely some springs as well. I have heard a lot of good things about Strange and AFCO. I just want some of your opinions and thanks in advance.

Hello
I just wanted to leave you know that UMI Performance offers a variety of QA1 products. We offer both single adjustable and we also offer double adjustable as well. Below is a link to show you what all we have too offer!

People have used all three with good results. The Afcos are the closest to custom built shocks like Penskes. They are a little more money then the others. I have the Afcos on my Camaro and the Qa1's on my Mustang. The Strange are the best bang per buck, just not as many adjustments. It depends if you are giong to take the time and log what settings work for each track and the different conditions as to wether you need all the adjustabilty.
I bought my Afcos from Mad Man and he will help you dial in a base line setting for the shocks along with the spring rates that you will need.

As mentioned all 3 will probably get the job done for most racers.

I usually recommend the Strange or Afco units. I have had better results on the track and durability wise with these over the Qa1.

The Strange shocks are going to be the best value.

If you have any questions just ask

Thanks for the replies. Im liking the pricing for Strange. I just want to set em and forget em so to speak so i would think the Strange shocks would be my best bet. They are double adjustable right?

The Strange units are available with the single or double adjustable configurations.

We are a W/D distributor for Strange so if you like give me a call here at the office and I quote them for you as single or double adjustable units so you can weight out your options.

What are you goals with the car? 6 speed/ auto? What times are you looking for? Any street time? That could help us a little more. Im planing on going with Strange Double Adj. for my car..After a lot of thought and research...i think it will fit me just fine!!

The Lakewoods are a decent shock for the money just not much adjust ability.

As for a direct comparison they are not near the same shock IMO.
