Default Advantages of Roto Joints vs traditional ball ends

I just ordered and recieved a new UMI PHB with Roto Joint ends. Sam Strano explained to me the advantages of the roto joints over the other styles but I can't remember what they were. Does anyone know or have any insight? Thanks

Hello
Thanks for the business and choosing UMI Performance! The difference is the roto will give you a better ride quality over a rod end. But also hold up just as well. But if you are looking for a set up for a daily driver, AutoX, Road Racing. Then the Roto is what I would suggest. If you are going for more a the strip set up or serious HP I would suggest looking into the rod end (will hold up better under aggressive launches). If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
Thanks
Brad

Synthetic grease works well. A marine based grease is great too, something thick and sticky! Just don't use the cheap chassis grease, it breaks down once it gets hot.

Hope that helps!
