Default STB + Solid Mount clearance

I currently have stock motor mounts, the SLP stb that came on the car, and a fast 90. There is barely any clearance between the stb and the Fast 90. I'm pretty sure its even contacting when the motor is revved.

I'm going to put in spohn solid motor mounts and i've heard they raise the drivers side of the motor roughly 1/2". Obviously I have a problem on my hands. Are there any stb's out there that will offer me more clearance than the SLP one?

And yes, I know any gain from an stb would be minimal but I do like the way they look in the engine bay.

i've got poly motor mounts, FAST 90, and a BMR stb....without measuring i'd say i have 3/4" of clearance.

no contact problem

bump. Forgot I had this thread going. The BMR sounds promising.

I have spohn solids in my car, and the intake contacted my UMI strut tower brace. I have to remove it in order to prevent rubbing, but I would assume if you had some thin adapter plates made it would work fine. FWIW, my solids raised my motor almost 1" all the way around.

some washers, or as mentioned above, an adapter plate would raise your stb up a little for more clearance.
