Default Lt1 to ls1 front brakes?

I took off my stock lt1 brakes and put ls1 brakes on my 96ss, but it did not make a difference in stopping? I did not do anything to the rear but the fronts have new pads and all. Any answers.

Did you flush out all the old brake fluid and bleed them properly with new fluid? What rotors and pads did you go with? My brakes were night and day difference after the swap...

Drilled rotors not sure of the brand and duralast gold pads. No I did not flush the brake fluid. Also the brakes are broken in, I've been driving with them for 6 months.

Try doing a complete flush on the fluid, that makes a big difference with feel.

I know there are a few good links for bedding in new pads, I'll dig around for them. Definitely flush the old fluid out and you may need to try to bed in your current pads or switch to another pad. Give Sam Strano a call, he's got the brake fluid you need and the advice towards bedding your pads in.
