Default power steering problems.

my power steering is starting to quit on me. sometimes it works and and sometimes it doesn't. does anyone have any suggestions?

Check for P/S fluid leaks and check the belts. If all are OK, your pump is probably going out.

oh ok. it does leak a little but not enough to where i have to add fluid. and i think my belts are good. it works fine when my motor is cold.

Have you ever changed your P/S fluid? That might be the issue, as well.

Check your P/S pulley shaft. Grab the pulley and pull, if it moves your shaft is starting to or is broken.
