Default ABS INOP help

no clue why this came on but its the only light, nothin has changed on the car then all of the sudden this happens? any ideas?

have to scan for chassis codes,most likely a bad W.S.S(wheel speed sensor).

It can be anything and everything that has to do with the ABS on the car. Since we aren't psychic as well we will need you to go get the codes pulled from the EBCM.

theres a ton of reasons why this could happen, just had mine go off, turned out there was some hub damage. doubt it the same thing for you, but i didnt notice any problems either.

You'll need a scanner that can read ABS codes. Most of the cheaper scanners cannot.

I also have the ABS INOP light on in my car. came on after I drove through a high 3-4" puddle. The light will go off at start up at times and then come back on after applying the brakes for the first time. Im going to unplug and dieelectric grease all the sensors, but the car was driven through the puddle last summer and the issue hasnt gone away.

you BRAKE indicator light would come on if your fluid was low,not your ABS light.

3rd brake light bulb burnt out maybe??

nope,no bulb malfunction system on F-bodies.

well the one and only time my abs inop had ever came on was when my fluid was low, remember it vividly dark icy night on country roads and my abs stopped working, thought i was going to wreck, got home checked fluid put more in and light went off and has never been back on
