Default odd wheel hop issue

Information on the car:

2000 z28 with stock suspension, stock 16 inch wheels, and weight reduction, the rear is pretty light.

the only time i have wheel hop is at the top of second gear. i can feel the tires break loose and it gets real bumpy. do you think some upgraded lcas will help me get rid of this, or would this have more to do with the shocks?

Hello
Well I notice above you have a complete stock suspension. And Like mentioned above I would suggest replacing the flexible stockers (with the shot bushings). And if you are looking for ultimate traction performance and also looking to eliminate wheel hop. I would suggest a set of Relocation Brackets to allow you to adjust the LCA parallel to the surface. Therefore putting the power to the ground we it belongs. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has to offer!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
Brad
