looks nice, aside from price why didn't you get the C6 calipers?

The C6 just looks so much nicer, I'm a little partial, I did the C6 swap, NON Z51 rotors.

I think the ones he has look great...red/black combo with the raised CORVETTE letters.

Can you post a pic of the C6 caliper for comparison??

I think the c5 and c6 calipers both look good. Definitely a big improvement over stock looks and i'm sure performance too.

Are those 17 or 18 inch wheels in the above picture?

200Z28M6,

How big is your setup ???

That seems like a nice upgrade to stock and still allowing 17s

because i didnt feel like painting the calipers. the c5 z06 come almost the EXACT red to match my color of my car. my Rear G2'd ones are way to dark red. The c6 ones do look a little better but not that much of a difference in my opinion.

Is there any difference between the c5 base/Z06 calipers and the c6 base calipers besides the different lettering and what appears to be a different shade of red?

Was wondering if the c6 calipers would bolt onto LG motorsports brackets just like the c5 calipers do?

I was always under the impression that C5/C5Z/C6/C6Z51 are all the same. Maybe minues the aesthetical differences.

Looks great! How's it feel on the road? Is it a little hard to get used to having that much more stopping power?

Should be the same, add LS2 GTO brakes to that list as well

Good, then it sounds like I have several choices as I do my C5 brake upgrade.

I wonder why you don't see as many C6 calipers with the C5 conversion? Is it due to the extra cost? (I haven't looked it up, but I assume they cost more)

kore3 has an excellent complete Z51 braking kit for our cars. Calipers, choice of pads, choice of rotors, lines, brackets, everything.
