Default 2002 TA WS6 Z06 Brake Kit upgrade Rear?

So I am going to do the Z06 brake kit upgrade on my front brakes and I figure why not do the same for the back to keep it all uniform even if there isnt really that much of a change. My question is this, I am going to change out the rear end soon and put a Strange S60 in, Before so Obviously I wanna do the brakes but I`m curious what will need to be done to the mounting area in the rear to put the Z06 brakes? Will the stock backing plates still stay the same? Anyone ever done this?

I'm assuming you're meaning the C6 Z06 brakes...one guy on here with a Blue SS has done it. I'm pretty sure he had to fabricate his own bracket. Search it.

This guy used brackets from Kore3. He decided to delete his e-brake (a4) since the brackets for e-brake was like $600-700. You will need to email or call them since its not listed on their website. He also ended up having to run spacers on the rear.
I talked with the company as well, if you have TCS and e-brake, you can only run one of them with the $600-700 bracket. If you go with the cheaper one, you have to delete both.

The rear upgrade would be strictly cosmetic as well as making everything uniform on the car once the front is done.

My understand is the rear can accept a C5 z06 rear caliper with no mods as long as the stock Rotor is used. That being said I would assume i would have to then use a c5 z06 pad?

Maybe, but there again maybe not. The GTO brake pad for example, this brake pad and a corvette pad are interchangalbe because the friction material is on the same back plate. Just the amount of friction material is different. So i wouldnt be half suprised if the corvette and fbody rear pads are interchangable. I also wouldnt be suprised if the fronts were also.
