Default Suspension issue?

My car started squatting very hard when i go over bumps in the road. It feels like the passenger rear suspension has a problem somewhere. If i go over a bump the passenger rear side of the car slams down really hard. I thought my shocks were blown with 88k miles on them so i replaced both rear shocks with bilsteins. The problem is still there and im not sure what is causing it. I have been driving my brothers 99 SS and it feels a lot better and tighter than my car. Does anyone know what could be going on? Any input is appreciated.

Hello
I would suggest checking out the bushings and the hardware on the rear suspension components to see what type of shape they are in. If the bushings are shot its your sleeve in the bushing itself that could be making the noise. Or it could be a broken piece of hardware, What shape are the end-links in on the rear sway bar? What a vehicle with 80+ thousand....I am sure it is time for replacement bushings. But before you do the bushings I would look into a set of aftermarket replacements with grease-able bushings to hold up better due to the poly bushings. Below is a link to show you what I am explaining.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
Brad

If you car is lowered, you'll be on the bump stops a lot more then you realize, that's if you had a set on your car !
Furthermore, you already made reference to you car bottoming out.

I installed brand new rear shocks (bilsteins) and thats all i have done to the rear suspension. The bump stops are a little beat up but not to the point that they are dead. Thanks for the input guys

Does you car sit noticeably lower on the right rear?

For example: bent spring, worn-out upper spring isolator

Yes it does. I looked it up and a few threads said that it was fine and should not be worried about. Is it bad if it sits lower on the right side?

How much lower is it?

The whole passenger side usually sits ~1 inch lower than the driver side. But the rear passenger side shouldn't be more than the front passenger side. If it is like nearly 2 inches on the passenger rear, and only 1 inch passenger front, then you've got an issue.
