Default solid motor mounts, extra room?

im looking to get a lil more room around my motor to k member. mostly for the drivers side being there's a turbo and down pipe there. do the solid mounts gain much room between the steering, k member and mount..
pics if anyone has them

I was under the impression if you ran soild motor mounts you need to run a mid plate for the tranny. How much more room could they save over the pedestal and clam shell with poly.

my intake already hit my stock hood so i cant go up an inch right now..i guess i'll have to run the stock mounts for now. could just run a motor plate but its a street car right now.
